Acting on a tip off, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Awantipora arrested a drug peddler identified as Mohammad Maqbool Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Reshipora at Reshipora Awantipora, and recovered 23 Kilograms of bung choora from his possession. A case FIR number 191/2016 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered against him and investigation was taken up.
